The most expensive option is usually waiting
People wait a long time to get help — the median delay between the onset of a mood or anxiety disorder and first treatment contact is measured in years, roughly a decade in the largest U.S. survey.1 And untreated behavioral health conditions don’t stay contained: people living with them incur roughly 2–3× higher total healthcare costs than those without.2
Against that math, a $20–$40 copay — or even a $275 direct-pay session — is the smaller number. The free 15-minute consultation costs nothing and tells you exactly what your path would look like.

What To Expect At Your First Session
Before Your Appointment
You'll receive intake paperwork via email to complete before your visit. This includes health history, consent forms, and a brief questionnaire about your concerns. Completing these ahead of time gives us more time to focus on you during the session.
Arriving At Our Office
Our office is located inside The Ledger building in downtown Bentonville. There's no exterior signage for privacy. Check in at the front desk, and we'll bring you to a comfortable, private therapy room. Free parking is available nearby.
The First Session (53-60 minutes)
Your therapist will spend time getting to know you, understanding your concerns, and learning about your goals. This is a collaborative conversation. There is no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with. We'll discuss what you hope to achieve and begin developing a personalized treatment plan.
Treatment Planning
Based on our discussion, we'll recommend evidence-informed approaches tailored to your needs. This might include CBT, EMDR, DBT, or other therapeutic modalities. We'll explain our recommendations and answer any questions you have.
Scheduling Future Sessions
Before you leave, we'll schedule your next session at a time that works for you. Most clients find weekly sessions most effective, but we'll work with your schedule and preferences. You can also book online anytime.
Frequently Asked Questions
Your Rights Under the No Surprises Act

- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
