Is this verification really free?
Yes. Verifying your insurance benefits is a complimentary service. No cost, no obligation. We believe understanding your coverage should be easy and stress-free before you commit to scheduling.
What information do I need to submit?
Have your insurance card handy. We'll need your name, date of birth, insurance provider, and ideally your member ID. Group number and the specific service you're interested in help us give you the most accurate estimate.
How long does verification take?
Most verifications are completed within 1 business day. We'll email you a clear summary of your benefits including your copay, deductible status, and any session limits. No jargon, just the numbers you need.
What does "in-network" vs. "out-of-network" mean for me?
In-network means ZipHealthy has a contract with your insurance plan, so you pay lower copays and your deductible applies at the in-network rate. Out-of-network means we can still see you, but your plan may cover less. We'll provide superbills so you can submit for reimbursement. We'll tell you exactly which category your plan falls into.
What if my insurance isn't listed?
We work with many providers beyond those shown. Pick "Other (specify below)" in the wizard and we'll check if we're in-network or can provide out-of-network benefits.
Does insurance cover telehealth therapy sessions?
Most major insurance plans now cover telehealth therapy at the same rate as in-person visits. We'll confirm telehealth coverage as part of your benefits verification so there are no surprises.
What if I don't have insurance?

Yes. Your information is submitted over an encrypted connection and is used to verify your insurance benefits. We only share data with the service providers described in our Privacy Policy. Health information you share in clinical care is protected under HIPAA as described in your intake documents.
